So called Olympic

I would not be caught dead playing sports. Frankly speaking I am that one God’s female creature that has absolutely no affection towards sports except if you categorize shopping as sport of course I would definitely have trophies for that! So here is my problem, I have no interest in any sort of sport but I have to write something about Olympic 2008. For the whole two weeks break we had in August which was the same time the world had its Olympic, the only match I watched – to pass the time while I was waiting for my food to be served at the mamak – was tennis when Roger Federer (did I get his name right?) versus James Blake. I could not even remember who won the game! So there goes my intention on writing about the only game I watched. But hey, it’s Olympic! It is not just about the game, winning or losing. There is always the opening ceremony! Unfortunately for you readers – if I even have one – I missed that part too. Then I passed by this site where I can actually watch some part of the opening ceremony. Note the word some. Hahaha… Now comes the part where I actually write about Olympic, one word; firework. I love the fact that the fireworks were released from all over China – okay maybe not all over, I was just exaggerating – and those fireworks look like they were footsteps to the stadium! Awesome! Then there was part when the firework looks like a comet or something like that. I have to say, I am not a fan of firework, and in fact I find it hard at first to understand why people love fireworks so much. But this Beijing Olympic really fascinate me! I mean, wow! Footsteps, comet and do not get me started on their colorful lights! I love colors! There was also a part where they have drum performance where the beats synchronize with the lights and this other part where one of the drummers forgot his steps. To make a long story short, the opening ceremony was amazing!
