This is my first entry for this blog. As for my introduction, I will just go traditionally with “Hi, I’m Nadia Zali, nice to meet you!” and “I am a student of Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka, KMM.”
There’s not much to say about my orientation week because I fell sick and spent most of the days binge-sleeping in my room. The hardest part about living in KMM is adapting to the environment. I managed to not have lunch for a month just because the café does not serve food like my mom does.
I am not going to write about how hectic the week was when the classes first started. Everyone knows how it is, don't we? But I will write here how my life was in that first week. I woke up at five in the morning – I had to because I was scared of getting late to class as I always have problem on waking up by myself – and arrived 15 minutes before the class had even started. You won’t be seeing any of that anymore nowadays… Hahaha!!!
The funny part about living in KMM is you see so many familiar faces and you say hi and bye and smile and all that but at the same time you wonder, “Who’s that person, I wonder where I met him?” Hahaha!!!
But the new experience, or I rather say, feeling that I have learnt just for staying here is the feeling of joy. The real joy! The joy when the water supply is finally back after being missing for almost a week. The first thing I did was got myself under the shower. I don’t have to tell you why, use your imagination, people!
Ahhhh… there you go a little bit of the little bits for my first entry.
